Jake started Taekwondo at the age of 6, reaching the ranking of 2nd Dan Black Belt; then at the age of 14, Jake started Kick Boxing at Arana Hills PCYC then after his 1st fight Jake moved on to train at Powerhouse NRG. Jake demonstrated tremendous courage after breaking his right hand in sparring 2 weeks prior to his QLD Title fight March 2008, Jake won the fight and title against an 14 fight experience opponent with a age, weight advantage
Jake hopes to have an Australian Title fight later this year and is also currently studying MMA
